StirpeAI is operated by Geyserich S.à r.l., RCS [NUMBER], [ADDRESS], Luxembourg. Using the service means accepting these terms.
You must be at least 16, and legally able to enter a contract.
StirpeAI is for historical documents. You may upload documents that record people who have died.
You must not upload:
We restrict the service this way because it lets us keep an archive of historical material for research without holding data about living people who never chose to be here. If you are unsure whether a document qualifies, do not upload it — ask us.
We may remove content that breaches this clause and suspend accounts that do so repeatedly.
You keep ownership of everything you upload.
You grant us a licence to process your documents to provide the service, and to retain the resulting transcriptions, translations and structured extractions in our research corpus indefinitely — including after your account closes, with your identity removed. This is explained in the Privacy Notice and it is a condition of using the service.
We do not claim ownership of your documents, and we do not sell your content.
StirpeAI uses artificial intelligence, and AI makes mistakes. Transcriptions may misread handwriting. Translations may miss nuance. Relationships and dates may be inferred incorrectly. Historical context may be wrong.
Every finding carries a confidence marker. Treat all output as a research aid requiring verification against original sources, never as an established fact. Do not rely on it for legal, financial or inheritance purposes without independent verification.
We provide the service “as is” and give no warranty that it will be accurate, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose.
Free accounts are limited to 20 analyses per day, and the service is rate-limited per network address. You must not attempt to circumvent these limits, scrape the service, reverse-engineer it, or use it to build a competing product.
Keep your credentials secure; two-factor authentication is available. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly at security@stirpe.ai if you suspect unauthorised access.
Delete your account at any time from your profile. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and will explain why unless the law prevents us.
On closure: your account and uploaded files are deleted; transcriptions remain in the research corpus with your identity removed.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death, personal injury, fraud, or your rights as a consumer under Luxembourg or EU law.
Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows: we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit or opportunity, or for decisions taken in reliance on AI output that was not independently verified. Our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in that period or €100.
We may change these terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in the service before they take effect. Continuing to use StirpeAI after that means accepting them.
Luxembourg law governs these terms, and the courts of Luxembourg City have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of your country of residence and may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
